Session Details

Microsoft recently released the Azure Data Lake services to allow you to prepare and process Big Data. It offers you both Hadoop clusters and the new Azure Data Lake Analytics job service with the new query language called U-SQL that evolved from Microsoft’s internal Big Data platform.
This seminar will give you an introduction to Azure Data Lake all up, including the Azure Data Lake Storage service and then go deeper into Azure Data Lake Analytics and U-SQL. You will learn what U-SQL is, gain some hands-on experience working through a Lab, see how the tools enable your productivity from day one and see further details on the language and its use.

Pre-requisite: Minimum: A laptop that can connect to the Azure Portal. Alternatively: A laptop with Visual Studio (2012/13/15) community edition and the latest Azure Data Lake Tool installed.
