You've got SQL Server and SSRS sorted but your users are wanting a bit more intelligence in their Business Intelligence. Microsoft can help you deliver these with R integration in SQL Server 2016, and the Cortana Analytics Suite, including Machine Learning and Power BI. This hands-on pre-con will take you through the fundamentals of working with R and then show how it can easily be integrated into the Microsoft stack.

You’ll need to bring a laptop sized device with you and possibly a tablet as well (so you can access the manual simultaneously while you develop your code), and we’ll hand you out a one month Azure subscription which has the software and services you’ll need for the labs. This will also enable you to continue your journey to being an R expert after the conference.
