Analyse your Lakehouse with Azure Databricks SQL

To meet the growing demand for a reliable, fast analytics of the lakehouse, Databricks released a new feature called Databricks SQL. The tool offers a new experience in doing analytics on data lake. For many companies, the cost of maintaining both data lake and warehouse platforms is becoming increasingly high. This new SQL powered feature allows organisation to leverage existing, highly skilled, SQL dev/analytics teams without the need of investing in training and upskilling in yet another new technology (USQL anyone?) In this session, we will introduce the Databricks SQL feature, explaining the basics of usage and slowly getting deeper into the data analytics, including connecting from Power BI directly to our Databricks SQL notebooks.
