Session Details
Many organisations are accelerating their transformation initiatives because of the pandemic, most of these initiatives includes broadening the use of data in the enterprise. But how can an organisation of size govern a distributed platform across data sources on-premises, in multiple cloud platforms and in software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications? How can they secure the data and make sure that the data is at the same time discoverable for end users and data stewards?
The answer is a combination of people, process and technology solutions such as Azure Purview which allows an enterprise to easily create a holistic, up-to-date map of its data landscape with automated data discovery, sensitive data classification and end-to-end data lineage, and processes alongside frameworks such as Cloud Data Management Framework (CDMC) and Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM) which can be used to support the data journey for a large enterprises.
Please note: In this session, we will refer to real industry scenarios along with Azure data management technology capabilities and data maturity and assessment frameworks.
