Let a Thousand Models Bloom

In most Power BI solutions, the go to architecture includes a monolithic, shared, semantic model that tries to have all the data for all users. In this presentation we’ll challenge that assumption and look at where that practice can break down. Then we’ll get into why you might consider having many similar models make up a single solution and what it takes to make that feasible and manageable. Along the way we’ll take a brief look at Power BI template apps and the Power BI Rest APIs.
