SQL Server Troubleshooting : from zero to (almost) hero

This full day conference will drive you from troubleshooting configuration basics to useful tools and techniques. We will first have a 10.000ft view of SQL Server engine to understand what we should monitor and where we should have a look in case of performance issue. Then we will configure SQL Server to be ready for troubleshooting. The next section will expose the essential DMVs to get information about SQL Server activity. And finally, we will highlight some frequent issues by using the wait and queues troubleshooting pattern.
