Slowly changing dimensions (SCD) is an inevitable part of a modern data warehouse and its implementation can go from simple to extremely complex.
In this session, you will be guided through how to set up Temporal Tables and use them as a simple way to implement SCD type 1+2, in your Data Warehouse type, with ease.
I talk about some of the advantages and challenges of working with Temporal Tables in a modern Data Warehouse set-up and how to use them in conjunction with Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL to set up fast, easy and powerful Data Warehouses.
