Session Details

Open source databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL have been very popular for a long period of time. However, the use cases for them have been very limited. Larger organisations used them for their internal or low business critical applications whereas smaller organisation used them to save cost. The concerns have always been security, scalability and overhead of maintenance. In this session we will try to understand why it makes sense to use them for business critical applications within any organisations, large or SME.
