Shireesh Thota works on the DocumentDB engineering team at Microsoft. Shireesh joined Microsoft in 2007 and has worked on SQL Server, SQL Azure and Document DB. His contributions are mainly in the areas of SQL Manageability, DAC framework, Import/Export Service and now, Document DB. Outside work, Shireesh is an avid science reader and loves teaching his 5 year old daughter.
